Club Captain . Paul Ellis

I joined the Pumas in 2023 after a long break from rugby, inspired by signing my sons up to play for the Cubs. Watching them made me realise how much I missed the game and how hard it would be to stay on the sidelines.

I started with the 2XV and worked my way up, making my 1XV team debut against Fordingbridge in December that same season. Getting back into rugby with the Pumas has been a brilliant experience. It’s been a privilege to return to the game with such a great club, and I’m proud to now serve as Club Captain.

Commercial Secretary . Ian Haberfield

Hello from your new Welsh supporting Commercial secretary!

I’ve played rugby since I was at school, moving on to playing for Southampton and a few Army rugby teams. I am now a part of the U12’s coaching team and having a great time.

In my Commercial role I am wanting to move Locks Heath Pumas forward as a focal point for sponsorship. If you would like to be part of a great club please reach out to me.

Senior Fixtures Secretary . angus clarke

Being Fixtures Secretary is just a small way in which I can give back to this great club that has given me so much. Ensuring the lads have fixtures to play not just as fixtures secretary but as a player, is something I feel is vital to the club’s future.

Volunteer Coordinator. Kirsty Davies

Hi, I’m Kirsty, and I’m proud to be the Volunteer Coordinator here at Locks Heath Pumas.

I have Pumas in the Senior team and Cubs – and have been known to refer to myself as a Puma WaM (Wife and Mum), so the family is full of Locks Heath Pumas . I am also the Clubs Neuro-Diversity Lead and Mental Health First Aider.

I’ve worked in volunteer management for over 16 years, supporting people from all walks of life to find rewarding, meaningful ways to give their time. My passion lies in making sure volunteers feel happy, supported, and genuinely valued for what they bring – whether they’re helping out once a season or showing up rain or shine!

My main aim in this role is simple: I want Pumas to be a safe, fun, and welcoming place for anyone who chooses to volunteer. Whether you’re helping behind the scenes, coaching, supporting at events, or just lending a hand now and again, I’m here to make sure you feel part of the team and enjoy being involved in this fantastic community club.
