Pumas Medical Team
Caring for our players is the Pumas top priority and as such we have assemble a top team to not only treat our players on match day, but offer sound advice to aid any recovery needed.
Kirsty Davies
Club Mental Health First Aider and Neurodiversity Lead
I’ve lost count of how long I’ve been a proud Puma WaM (Wife and Mum), but I absolutely love being on the sidelines—cheering on my husband in the Seniors (and Vets!) and my twin girls in the Cubs. My favourite Saturday afternoons and Sundays are spent cheering on the teams... albeit having no idea of the rules of rugby! Being part of this incredible team means the world to me.
It’s a real honour to support Locks Heath Pumas as both the Mental Health First Aider and Neurodiversity Lead. I've also been known to utilise the skills I have learnt in my job in the charity sector, to help organise events and build balloon arches!
In my role as Mental Health First Aider, I’m trained to support anyone experiencing a mental health crisis—from panic attacks to suicidal thoughts—and help guide them to the right support. While I’m not a counsellor, I’m always happy to listen and be there when someone needs it most.
Rugby is such an inclusive sport, and as Neurodiversity Lead, I’m passionate about working with players, coaches, and parents to ensure the team is accessible to everyone. My goal is to help make the Pumas experience as welcoming and positive as possible for all.
