Player of the Season Awards

The 2021 - 2022 season was a challenge but we are here to reward those players and support personnel that have made the best contribution to the season.

 

Please select your contenders from the shortlist in each category.

The shortlist was agreed by the Coaches, Committee and Supporters watching the Pumas train, play and drive your club forward.

 

Vote in the categories you feel comfortable. You can move backwards and forwards changing your selection before finally submitting your entries.

 

The awards nominations will CLOSE on 1st May... so get voting, it takes 1 minute!!!!

Results will be announced at the End of Season Awards night on 21st May 2022 by Will Carling.

1XV Player of the Season

This is the player that has made a real difference to the team in terms of performance. Someone who regularly trains, commits himself to be available and offers 100% both on and off the field.

1XV Most Improved player

This category is for new and existing players that have increased their performance on the field throughout the season.

 

We have listed the number of games played for the 1XV, but it is more their contribution to the team that you should think about.

2XV Player of the Season

This is the player that has made a real difference to the team in terms of performance. Someone who commits himself to be available (whether we got a game going or not) and performed the best they can in every game they have played.

2XV Most Improved player

Vets Player of the Season

This category is for new and existing players that have increased their performance either at training and on the field throughout the season.

We struggled this season to get a side out but we have listed the number of games played in 2XV, but it is more their contribution to the team that you should think about.

This is a late category as we only had 2 games but it is to reward those players that play in our now well established Vets team.

The criteria is for those over 30 and made themselves available to play, put in a great shift on the field, be able to handle their drinking and show a good contribution to the Club (possibly playing in other Puma sides).
