I was introduced to rugby by my father who has always been a massive rugby league fan. Obviously, I know that's the wrong code now, but the excitement of watching all the Wigan greats on a Friday night was definitely what got me into the sport. I grew up playing rugby at Bournemouth RFC throughout the age grade. I continued playing through college until injuries and work got in the way. Enjoyed some success against Bath, London Irish and won the Dorset and Wilts County Championship. I was not the star of the show by any means, but the feeling I got from being part of that team is incredibly valuable to me. 

Seeing my son develop the same passion I had for the game at his age prompted me to get involved with coaching at Pumas. I'm proud to be part of a great group of people working to provide community rugby and grow the club into what it deserves to be.
