Puma Cubs Training Ground

As many of you may have seen on Facebook, due to our increased demand for the new season... We are moving!

Locks Heath Puma Cubs has a new training facility for sessions starting from this Sunday, 5th September.

We are excited to be relocating just down the road to Titchfield at West Hill Park School. The new venue will allow us to offer more facilities for your children to grow in the game.

Venue address: West Hill Park School, St Margaret's Lane, Titchfield, PO14 4BS.

Session times:

School Years R to 1 (U5 - U6) 0930 to 1015

School Years 2 to 4 (U7 - U9) 0930 to 1030

School Years 5 to 7 (U10 - U12) 1100 to 1230

We will be training on the main field at the front of the school, however, the school has requested that we not park at the front of the school surrounding the playing field. Therefore, please access the school via the main entrance on St Margaret's Lane and then follow the driveway around and use the large car parks situated at the rear of the school by the all weather pitch. Children can be dropped off at the registration tent/gazebo. There is a one-way system in operation around the school so, when leaving, please exit through the barrier, onto Common Lane.

As both teachers and pupils reside on site, please be courteous and keep noise to a minimum. Please also be advised that - as was the case at Hook-with-Warsash - dogs and smoking are not allowed on site.

We will be in contact shortly with a calendar of events (joint training and games with other local clubs, plus festivals) when we have all dates finalised.

If you haven't already done so please go online and re-affiliate your child on GMS as per the recent email sent.

There will be training kit available for purchase at the session on Sunday, however, we will not be serving refreshments until we are more settled into our new home.

We look forward to seeing you all soon for what we hope will be a fantastic new season for the Locks Heath Puma Cubs.

COVID-19 requirements

Due to the current COVID-19 regulations in place the RFU has decided that every child attending a training session must complete a registration form every time they attend a session on Sundays.

This is to allow for 'Track and Trace' records to be kept.

This form can now be completed online prior to each session. Just fill in the details for your child following the link below..

Under 10 &11s

If cannot get to the app we will still require every parent to complete the COVID-19 registration form each Sunday and hand it in to the desk in the playground.

If no form is completed we are afraid that your child cannot attend the session.

Spectators are not allowed at grassroots sporting events, although for safeguarding purposes one parent or carer must attend training sessions. Waiting parents / carers should remain socially distanced from those outside of their bubble.

We will still be taking temperatures and sanitising hands on arrival, as we did before Christmas.

We encourage everyone to download the NHS Test and Trace app, and scan the club QR code on arrival at the school.
